LAS VEGAS – UFC 226 media day was held today at the Palms Casino Resort, and MMAjunkie was on the scene of clashes between 18 fighters, including Paul Felder and Mike Perry, new competitors of the main map.

Felder (15-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) against Perry (11-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) was raised from the preliminaries FS1 Pay-per-view following the sudden withdrawal of UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway on Wednesday night from the co-main event. The welterweight battle was only done last week after a reshuffle of cards, and the two men engaged in an intense confrontation that began with Perry asking Felder, who works as an FS1 analyst, a serious question: "Are you ready for a full-time commentator?"
