The UFC Fight Night 140 takes place today and you can join us for game after game and official results from 7pm. ET (4 pm Pacific time).
The event takes place at Parque Roca Arena in Buenos Aires. The tunes of cards on FS1 following beginning of the preliminary rounds on UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, Neil Magny (21-6 MMA, 14-5 UFC) faces Santiago Ponzinibbio (26-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) in welterweight. In the co-feature, former rival of the featherweight title Ricardo Lamas (18-7 MMA, 9-5 UFC) bout Darren Elkins (24-6 MMA, 14-5 UFC).

Round 1 – Heinisch early, get in full face of Ferreira. Ferreira does not want to bite at the hook and lets Heinisch meet a kick before circling stop. Heinisch goes into play and comes back with a blocked header. Ferreira catches another kick with a takedown. Heinish shrimp and gets up. Ferreira has a leg and tries to raise it. He turns around and starts again and is almost taken by an elbow. Ferreira against another advance with the left hand. Ferreira very stationary now, waiting for Heinisch to come to the beach. When the full – spirited Heinisch gets closer, wait for a punch. A huge kick for Ferreira. Another blow calls for an attempt to withdraw Ferreira, who turns against the cage and tries to get it. Instead, Heinisch wraps his head and tries a guillotine. He does not look like turning the crank that he has, but he is still for his life. Ferreira comes waiting for his hour, and finally, the head ejects. Less than a minute, and Ferreira has some time to work floor and book. Heinisch tries to walk in a cage and is rejected. he then takes an arm and works for submission. He turns to empty his stomach, but Ferreira has already approached and released the pressure. Round 1 – Cannetti throws a kick early as Vera advances. Cannetti explodes in close combat and tries to lead Vera to the mat. Instead, he hangs caught in melee, taking his knees. When he tries to answer, he falls on the canvas and Vera works at the top. Armbar Cannetti attempt to swing on his feet. Cannetti then knocks Vera with a punch and loads through the cage to put Vera on the mat. He has an arm and a crank for submission, forcing Vera to defend himself. Vera comes back to her feet and wants to turn Cannetti against the cage. Vera Zut finally his opponent, and they eye each other. Cannetti goes up with a kick and chases Vera through the cage with punches and kicks. Vera hangs again and ties his enemy into melee, walking him to the cage. Cannetti knees him in close to the body, and it does not take long before they are locked up again. Vera crushes her feet against the fence and Cannetti pulls him towards the carpet. On guard, Cannetti gets up and waits his time. Elbow from the top. No more shots above the head, and he backs up. He hits Vera and beckons to the referee. Time runs out in the half-block, and MMAjunkie scores the opening 10-9 for Cannetti.
Round 2 – Cannetti goes up with a kick and resets. Vera uses the gap to go from the front, jumping into one knee. He catches the melee and knocks Cannetti with a knee. As Cannetti tries to recover, Vera jumps into a guillotine and pedals with all her strength. He does not have the tap, but when Cannetti gets back on his feet, he is nailed with an uppercut and followed to the left who drops him to the mat. While Cannetti rushes to escape, Vera takes her back and provides a quick throttle from behind, forcing the tapout.

It takes him a few minutes for everything to go well and Botelho gets up, kicking at the leg. Calvillo turns again and tries to attack the legs. Botelho strikes his guard violently. Calvillo peeks right in advance. She is a little more busy, while Botelho is shooting power. Hard control of a Brazilian kick. Round 1 – Arnett moves sideways while he's looking for a way to get in. Bandenay closes and pretends before moving to the inside of the leg. Arnett does not like that and comes back charging his opponent. Bandenay does it again when they reset at once, and again, Arnett ends with a punch. Bandenay explodes out of nowhere with a high left kick and a punch, and Arnett seems to catch him with a counter. A fight ensues, a charge and a counter-charge take place, but Arnett breaks the rhythm by taking a close fight against the fence. They swap knees nearby, and Bandenay SCOOTS away. Arnett picks up a nice body to throw a combination. Bandenay almost kicks his jaw when he kicks. But his right-hand left is in focus as he snaps Arnett. Without getting discouraged, Arnett charges again and they find themselves hung up against the fence. Bandenay triturates and pushes Arnett back to the canvas before tripping to the mat. He slides one knee as Arnett stands up, and the two grab the barrier with Arnett at the controls. No more tight knees and Peterson separates them. Arnett takes a hellish kick to the body, and he backpedals, taking a pair of left hands. Bandenay tries to close the match with a powerful shot, but Arnett has not finished yet. He fights back and uses a padlock to briefly lower Bandenay, thus ending the frame in close combat against the cage. MMAjunkie scores the 10-9 frame for Bandenay.
Round 2 – Arnett's fine attempt is blocked, and he absorbs Bandenay's counters at the legs and body. Arnett rushes again with short fists, then kicks back to the floor and to the body. Bandenay waits for them, then lifts himself while Arnett strikes hard. Arnett has control again, and he kneels body as he Bandenay holds on. Already better played for Arnett, who is resistant to reversal. One knee goes south to Bandenay, and the action interrupts. Arnett is a beautiful cup sported on his left forehead. He is almost trapped with a high kick. Back at work, he goes off with punches and kicks, and Bandenay almost drops his head with a kick. He recovers quickly and hoists against the barrier, taking control of the fight. They exchange knees before Arnett separates. Bandenay looks pretty flat on his back, and Arnett beats him two to one in attack. The kick inside the leg is there, but it's not enough to prevent Arnett from charging and choking him against the fence. One minute, and Arnett tries to hang a leg and use the body lock for a takedown. Bandenay seems to be just keeping up. But he turns Arnett and tries a nudge during the break. He tries a guillotine while Arnett puts it on the carpet. Time-outs, and MMAjunkie scores the 10-9 frame for Arnett, tying up at 19-18.
Round 3 – Both fighters are waiting for each other. Arnett breaks the match with more pressing kicks. Bandenay strikes the leg, but he is a lazy shot. Arnett drops him down and kicks him. Bandenay seems to have understood the message and catches his opponent with a left hook. Arnett with a nice straight left on the left while he was supporting Bandenay. Once again, it's a good move for the American, who is the only person in this fight at the moment. Bandenay is freewheeling. His approaches have little intention, and Arnett's attacks have heat. Arnett Bandenay powers to the mat, and he advances to the guard as Bandenay tries to run to the cage. Arnett working in the guard, using his left hand to land elbows and punches. Bandenay is still trying to scoot at liberty, but he has nowhere to go, and Arnett is taking the start. Peterson thwarts a caged march from Bandenay. It therefore seems that Arnett will close the fight in the seat of control, beating Bandenay at full speed. Even when he stands in the lead, Bandenay does not have the juice to get up. Shooting nails him from the back. the left hand bounce his head off the canvas, and Peterson is getting close to making sure he's not going. Arnett does not get the round of 16, but he ends the fight with an exclamation point and gets the score of 10-8 for a win of 29-27.

Round 1 – Aldana slaps his leg out of the door, and they swing for early fences. Alanda goes back to the legs and Staropoli goes up with his own legs. Spinning backfists leads to inform clinch, and Staropoli takes off and resets. Crowd already underway for Staropoli nuts, which is moving forward and pulling steep counters from Aldana. Staropoli arrives and hits hard, but Aldana reprimands him. They go for blow, and the two heavy blows of the earth. But it's Aldana who bleeds when they stop to catch their breath. Staropoli hunt with a kick, and he follows with a wild hook. Aldana resorts to heavy combinations when her opponent approaches too much Portella pauses the action to check the cup on Aldana's eye. Staropoli presses in the restart, and they trade wild punches nearby. Staropoli lands a right hand that shifts Aldana, who responds with his own shots as Staropoli tries to close it. More savage exchanges as the two fighters head for the barriers. Staropoli goes airborn with a flying knee and falls on the mat, but Aldana allows him to save. Aldana smiles after taking a kick at the leg, and Staropoli charges for another tit-for-tat exchange of punches. Staropoli splits and grabs a right hand after shooting off a high kick. Short of time, they kick kicks to end a first crazy image. MMAjunkie scores the opening round 10-9 for Aldana.
Round 2 – Portella wants the cut again to be checked. Staropoli is eager to resume the fight. Again, the doctor authorizes Aldana to continue and we return to action. Aldana catches a ball in the groin of a kicking shock, and we pause. Aldana does not look good, but the audience does not care. Back on, and Staropoli closes with heavy kicks. Aldana responds with his own high shot and almost a Staropoli wing shot a punch. Staropoli counters a good low kick and presses a body kick and punch. Both shoot a little more this round, which is not a surprise. Aldana takes a goal against the closure of Staropoli, who can not help but engage in another exchange of punches. Aldana takes the best shots, however, and is forced to reset. Undeterred, he redoubled his efforts and put a shot or two on Aldana. On the next try, Aldana ducks under and ties his opponent to the fence, kneeling his legs. Staropoli does not get a change of response until Aladana comes back, but he moves forward like a tank and launches one shot at a time to finish on the body. The cut of Aldana bleeds a lot. Staropoli has a blocked hook. Aldana is ready on the counter at the next approach. Staropoli continues to come and beats the guard of his opponent. He may be stealing this round by his approach of aggression and volume. The round ends with the pursuit of Staropoli and, although close, he won the second frame 10-9 for the draw 19-19.
Turn 3 – Again, Portella calls the time to check Aldana's eye, which is almost closed. Aldana passes the doctor's test for how many fingers and they resume the fight. Staropoli attacks the leg with hard kicks and they start negotiating again. Staropoli steps back and thwacks the leg again. Many of his punches look much more formidable than they are. Aldana's guard caught most of them, but a straight line landed briefly. The cut at the eye Aldana bleeds again, and Staropoli tries to find a way through the guard of his opponent. He hits his enemy before throwing with an elbow that almost lands. Aldana was largely on the defensive, trying to land at the top or back of the trade. But Staropoli has control of the momentum, jump with kicks and punches before resetting his next approach. Body shots are sneaking as he goes in headhunters. A beautiful left hook cracks Aldana, who moves back towards the fence and seems to be on his last legs. He manages to fight Staropoli, who is getting closer for a final combination. Some shots are blocked, and we are running out of time. For all his defensive deficits, Staropoli aggression won him the fight. Higher volume and greater diversity of attacks. He gets the score 10-9 in the final frame and takes the score 29-28.

Round 1 – Pinedo begins to feel like doing homework early in the night. Powell comes forward and tries a good attempt to set the tone. Pinedo comes back with his own version and takes a step back. Pinedo pulls a Powell's leg from a low kick, and stands over the head to determine his next move. Powell ready to launch the first attack, but Pinedo waits too long and the referee gets up Powell. No more kicks from Pinedo, and Powell responds in kind. Powell is kicked again and Pinedo is standing over his head again. He strikes Powell for a dubious effect, but he is in no hurry to attack. Powell has conscientiously kicked his opponent and, finally, Pinedo does not like the shot and signals to his enemy. Interesting approach. Pinedo is scored with a left hand and is in trouble while Powell wipes. He escapes, but the costs of feeding back and land knees of melee. Pinedo turns around. The power closes and returns to its combinations, landing closer. Pinedo puts Powell back on the mat and is still not ready to attack. Powell does not seem to be in a hurry either. Pinedo finally heads for the carpet and lands a good hammer. He raises again and lands another shot. The last 10 seconds have more action of Pinedo than of all the first round, because it is everywhere on Powell. MMAjunkie scores the first 10-9 frame for Pinedo.
Turn 2 – Powell remains aggressive to start the second leg, following the advice of his corner to put pressure on his enemy. The punches and kicks move in an almost continuous flow, although Pinedo is always happy to go back, and apparently with more power. Pinedo is once again able to grab his opponent's leg and drop an unbalanced Powell on the ground in the final stages of the round, but again refused to enter the ground. Pinedo still throws a few punches, landing on the body. He kneels twice, but again, he will not be fully engaged in a series of shots. Pinedo raises the heat in the final seconds, hitting several big shots before the bell.
Round 3 – Powell's right eye seems to be a problem. Maia notices it and calls the doctor. He gives the OK and we go back. Powell is trying to corner his opponent, who is back at his first round strategy of successfully running and kicking and long punches. Powell returns with his own kicks, and they do not quite have the same effect. Pinedo lands a beautiful attempt and a punch. Powell follows again and gets cracked with a punch counter. Another kick almost to be traded by Pinedo, whose timing is simply better than his opponent. Another Cleavage and Pinedo kick is standing up above. He strikes his legs and takes his time to enter. Powell is just lying there and Pinedo nails the body with a punch. When Powell tries to get up, Pinedo rushes to him and forces him to get up. Maia finally wants more action and gets up, Powell, who resumes his hunt to his opponent. He is kicking at approach, but he catches a nice left hook after a few loads. Pinedo cracks the body with a kick and tries to keep his enemy at bay. Powell is still on the offensive and he is trying to get out of nowhere. Pinedo fights it and they get stuck with time. MMAjunkie scores 10-9 for Pinedo, who is 20-18.
