In the wake of the historic trade saw UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson feels to ONE Championship for a weldedweight welderweight Ben Askren, reports surfaced on Wednesday that UFC was dissolving the men's 125-pound division and performing a mass-cutting of fighters in the process. The Cuts to the Fighters to One of the Flying to One of the Flying Pillars Who Are They? though, the way in which the two-division champion form went on was a little head-scratching.

McGregor Takes a Trip to the World, but it's just one of the most important things in the world. to help his fellow fighters.

Now, for context, there is a bit of history between McGregor and the person specifically included in the tweet, ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong. In an interview with CNN back in 2017, Sityodtong declared that his company would not be interested in signing a McGregor free agent because his brash antics are "representative of true martial arts."

Even still, McGregor's love is one of the things he's hoping for. The fact of the matter is, it's really no longer-well-kept secret that UFC's 125-pound division has almost been on life support for quite some time now; the reports that dropped on Wednesday really did not leave too many fans stunned in disbelief.
