The Irish Aviation Authority has opened an investigation into the incident after asking the air traffic control unit at Shannon Airport if "military exercises" took place.
The first sighting was recorded by a British Airways pilot flying a Boeing 747 between Montreal and Heathrow over Kerry at 6:07 am Friday.
She recounted having seen an unidentified flying object (UFO) ride along the left side of her aircraft before it "deviates rapidly to the north".
The pilot contacted Shannon Air Traffic Control to find out if any military exercises were taking place nearby.
Air traffic controllers responded terrifyingly by saying: [radar]. "
The driver concerned replied, "OK. It moved so quickly, "before adding that she was" wondering "what it could be.
The pilot goes on to explain how a bright light has passed the aircraft heading north at "very high speed".
After his report, another Virgin Airlines pilot revealed that he had also seen "several objects" that were "very bright".

Another pilot added their shock to the speed of the unidentified object, claiming that the acceleration was "astronomical, it was like Mach 2".
Shannon Airport informed the pilots that they would review the reports after further sightings of the UFO.

The Irish Aviation Authority has confirmed that it would investigate the incident.
The Irish Aviation Authority told The Irish Examiner: "On Friday, 9 November, a small number of aircraft reported unusual air activity, and the IAA filed a report.
"This report will be the subject of an investigation as part of the normal investigation process on a confidential event."
