Frenzy of the trailerA special place to find the latest movie trailers and TV shows you dream of. The second trailer of the much awaited movie of Mr. Night Shyamalan, Glass, is there, and with that, the curtain has been slightly removed on a film in almost two decades.
In Glass, the worlds of Unbreakable and Split collide like David Dunn (Bruce Willis) of Unbreakable finds himself chasing The Beast (James McAvoy) of SplitMeanwhile, from a prison cell, Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) is orchestrating a master plan that will reveal to the world superheroes and supervillains.
This new trailer shows us quite clearly the plot of the film or, at least, what Shyamalan wants us to believe, is the film's plot. It seems that David and the Beast find themselves in the same institution as Elijah (probably after a previous altercation), their arrival wakes something up in him and, using The Beast, Elijah unleashes his plan to announce to the superheroes of the world and to his superiors actually exists.
All this gives the impression that the hero, David Dunn, faces an impossible task. In fact, one almost feels that his story is an afterthought and that the relationship between Glass and the Beast is in the foreground. (Which would not be a surprise considering the title of the film.) I'm curious about how Glass will balance these three figures. Who is the star? Who is the hero? Who is right? Who's wrong This may sound obvious, but I guess that's not the case.
Oh, and a special shout to the James Newton Howard Unbreakable theme playing throughout this trailer. It does not mark Glass (This will be the composer West Dylan Thordson), but the film would not be the same without this music.
We will see January 18 when Glass comes to the theaters.
