The winner between two of the best defenses in the country will win the East Division – Kentucky has not only played in the title of the SEC title, but has never done better than third place in the East. The Cats have lost the last eight games of this series by an average of nearly 20 points per game.
The Penn Ten of Week 10 will take place at Penn State, Number 14, visiting Michigan, ranked fifth. The Wolverines are the only Big Ten team without defeat at the conference. Penn State is two games East and, in theory, could still win the division – but not really. It is likely that Michigan will visit the state of Ohio to close the regular season. U-M is a 10.5-point favorite on Saturday and has won seven of the last eight home games against PSU, according to the OddsShark College Football database.
Northwestern is leading the Big Ten West but is coming out of the conference this week to welcome number three and unbeaten Notre Dame. Some call this game the "Brain Bowl" because of the high academic standards of both schools located within 80 miles of each other. The Irish fighters are -9.5 favorites and have won 11 of their last 15 games against Big Ten schools.
Three teams are tied at the top of the Big 12 and two of them play Saturday while West Virginia No. 12 visits Texas No. 15. The Horns were the last team to suffer a conference loss, tipping Saturday at Oklahoma State. UT is a 2-point favorite against WVU, which is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games.
