Nothing will catch the attention of CBS Sports 129 voters more than winning a spot in a Power Five conference title game with two weeks to play. Northwestern, considered by this group as one of the top 40 players at the start of the 11th week, climbed the rankings and found themselves in the top 25 after beating Iowa for a spot in Indianapolis as than Big Ten West champion.

The Wildcats are the highest-ranked four-game losing squad after this week's vote by CBS Sports and 247Sports experts. Although there are only a few minor adjustments at the top of our full 129 team ranking of all FBS teams, there is still a lot to be done. as the season ends.

The margins between Georgia No. 5 Oklahoma No. 6 and West Virginia No. 7 Washington No. 8 are small enough that we can see an exchange of exchanges between these teams after the week. 11, but our voters are in line with the polls and ranking college football matches with the top four from Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan.

The Iowa State began to climb while competing in the Big 12 title race, climbing four places to 17th. Texas, Florida and Penn State also advanced in the standings after their significant wins in the conference during the 11th week.

CBS Sports and 247Sports University Football Experts issue weekly ballots, averaging our rankings. You can see the top-25 below and 26-129 on our ranking page.

The biggest movers

  • North West (+17): No team has seen a bigger change in this week's standings than Northwestern, from No. 39 to No. 22, making it one of the participants in the conference championship weekend.
  • Pitt (+16): Speaking of the weekend championship conference in freefall, Pitt took a step closer to Coastal ACC victory with a win against Virginia Tech. Our voters took note and the Panthers went from No. 49 to No. 33.
  • Army (+14): There are not many two-game teams left in college football, but the Army will have a chance to finish the year 10-2 and our electors will recognize it with a progression to 26th place in the standings. The Black Knights beat Lafayette Saturday in the Colgate host next weekend. They will then wait two weeks for their annual confrontation with the Navy (which you can see on CBS).
  • UAB (+12): Breaking the top 25 of our rankings and highlighting the commitment of Bill Clark, the UAB 2018 team, will reign in the history of Blazers football. Depending on what is happening in the AAC and the MW, UAB could be in the conversation for a New Year's place at the end of the year.
  • Kentucky (-11): Kentucky made little adjustment after losing to Georgia, but after losing to Tennessee, our constituents turned the Wildcats from No. 12 to No. 23.
  • Wisconsin (-13): The Badgers started the 2018 season almost at the top of our rankings, but now they are in the top 50, falling to 44th after losing to Penn State.
  • State NC (-14): The free fall continues for Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack until number 40. After a close defeat at Syracuse last week, our constituents saw the NC State being beaten by a disabled Wake Forest team at home and have changed their ranking.
  • Houston (-16): The consecutive defeats of SMU and Temple leave little room in Houston to stand up to the debate of the best university football teams. At 7 am, our voters think that the Cougars are among the top 50 players, but they are now No. 46.
