The road was long, but we reached the last weekend of the regular college football season. The action scheduled for Friday brings us two games in prime time that have significance for the conference championships as well as the race for university football series. In addition, the UCF aims to finish a second consecutive regular season without being beaten, because it hopes to preserve the incredible series of victories it has won before the success of the weekend of the championship of the conference in early December.

UCF in the lead despite Milton's injury
The UCF quarterback, Milton McKenzie, left the game against the USF in the first period due to a terrible knee injury. He was replaced by Darriel Mack. The freshman pitched for 10 yards and ran for 20 after coming to the injured Knights superstar. Before his injury, McKenzie touched a touchdown to Gabriel Davis and Greg McCrae scored another to help build a 17-3 lead.
Ducks cruising in the Civil War; Herbert injured
Oregon has no problem with its rival, the state of Oregon, during the civil war. The Ducks have a 21-3 lead at half-time, on 76 yard yards and two touchdowns by CJ Verdell. Travis Dye added 70 yards rushing, quarterback Justin Herbert threw a touchdown and the Ducks defense did not allow Beavers quarterback Jake Luton to spend much time on the go. However, Herbert did not leave the locker room for the second period with his team. Although his status is not known, Herbert seemed come carefully after taking a shot in the second quarter. Braxton Burmeister is in training for Herbert.
The Commonwealth Cup is near
Virginia and Virginia Tech clash in Blacksburg, and it's tight. The Hokies lead the Cavaliers 14-7 early in the third quarter with a seven-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Willis to Tre Turner and a blocked kick by Turner that was returned to 23 yards for a touchdown by Jovonn Quillen. The Cavs responded in the third quarter with a 29-yard touchdown pass from Bryce Perkins to Joe Reed.
Texas wins place in the Big 12 Championship Game
It was not easy, but the Longhorns got a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game with a 24-17 victory in Kansas. Quarterback Sam Ehlinger was erratic but efficient enough, scoring 154 yards, two touchdowns and two choices. The Longhorns were up 21-0 at halftime, but Kansas narrowed the gap to 24-14 and then recovered a kick in 3:27. But the Longhorns defense forced the Jayhawks to score a goal, before emptying the clock on the road to victory.
Iowa moves away from a winner
Miguel Recinos scored a 41-yard goal to give the Hawkeyes a 31-28 home win over Nebraska to raise their record to 8-4 and give coach Kirk Ferentz a $ 500,000 bonus for a season of eight wins. It was not stress free, though. The Cornhuskers reduced the score to 28-20 early in the fourth quarter to bring the lead to 28-20. They then amassed 80 yards in 13 games and got a 2-point conversion in 3:22 to equalize at 28 to give fans hope that Scott Frost's team was about to break through. Hawkeyes running back Mekhi Sargent was the star of the day with 173 yards and a score.
Memphis claims AAC West title
Memphis dominated Houston in a wild game, 52-31, to try to face UCF in next week's AAFC championship game. Darrell Henderson has collected 174 yards and two touchdowns – both in the fourth quarter – to lead the Tigers and consolidate his place as one of the program's biggest players. Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver came back after a month of absence, but was removed in the second half. The Cougars coach, Major Applewhite, said after the match that his knee was starting to annoy him. This is a week removed from the two get into a screaming match after Oliver wore a jacket reserved for active players.
Texas without a leading tackle against Kansas; Ehlinger to start
Texas announced Friday morning that linebacker Gary Johnson would not play Kansas due to a violation of the rules of the team. Johnson was one of Longhorn's most productive defensive players, leading the team with 74 tackles and 14 tackles for the loss. However, Texas coach Tom Herman has also confirmed that quarterback Sam Ehlinger (shoulder) will start. With a win against the Jayhawks, the Longhorns will win their ticket for the Big 12 Championship Game next week.
