Miami traveled to face Boston College in a key showdown of ACC, Indiana against PJ Fleck and the Golden Gophers of Minnesota, and the No. 23 Utah ruled UCLA in Pasadena, in California, in a showdown against Pac-12 South.

Utah wins huge victory over UCLA
Four Pac-12 South teams started the 9th week tied for the Pac-12 South with two losses at the conference and two of them clashed on Friday night. No. 23 Utah steamed UCLA 41-10, Zack Moss s' rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns and the Utes defense dominated the Bruins in all aspects. If you did not know who Moss was before the match, you should know now. He is one of the best half-strikers in the country and he proved it Friday night.
Wyoming rolls in the state of Colorado
Wyoming's star defensive lineman, Youhanna Ghaifan was summoned for false imprisonment and harassment at the team hotel on Friday morning, but the Cowboys did well without him on Friday night. The Eagles developed a new tradition on September 10, 2011 – the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks – when they began dedicating a match a year to Welles Remy Crowther's memory. Crowther was a Boston College lacrosse player who worked at the World Trade Center. He is credited with having saved at least 12 lives before dying during the collapse of the south tower. Nicknamed "The Red Bandana Man", the Eagles donned uniforms and gave their fans red bandanas to pay homage to one of our country's heroes.
