The Ace of the Boston Red Sox, Chris Sale had a fragile performance in the first game of the 2018 American League Championship Series.
Unfortunately for Sale, his experience in Game 2 was not really better. Indeed, rather than attending the match and offering support to his teammates, he was hospitalized because of a stomach illness.

At this point, it is not certain that Sale's disease affects its availability for the future. In the current state of affairs, he will probably not be asked to start before the fifth match. With a travel day coming Monday, the Red Sox will have more time to evaluate its status.
It should be noted that the Red Sox could always replace Sale on the list if his illness prevents him from contributing. The disadvantage is that he would not be eligible for the World Series, if Boston was successful so far.
