A Verizon outage has left Valley residents without cell phone service tonight and officials are encouraging anyone with an emergency to use a landline or go directly to the nearest fire / EMS or agency. law enforcement for assistance.
According to the Verizon Fault Card, wireless customers in all of northeastern Pennsylvania are without service.
Tonight, Northumberland County's 911 Center has issued a press release announcing that the Northumberland County Fire and EMS units are located throughout the county. "If there is an emergency and they are unable to reach by telephone, go to the nearest fire / EMS or law enforcement agency to obtain the information." "Help," said director Brandon Ulrich.
