CLEVELAND, Ohio — This Veterans Day, many restaurants will once again be thanking retired and active U.S. military members for their service in the form of free meals and discounts.
While the majority of the offers on our list are good on Sunday, Nov. 11, a couple of chains, including Famous Dave’s, Texas de Brazil and O’Charley’s, are extending the deals to Monday, Nov. 12.
In all cases, proof of military service is required. This may include a military ID, U.S. uniform services retired ID card, leave and earnings statement, or Veterans organization card.
APPLEBEE’S
Veterans and active military can enjoy a free meal from a special menu. Choices include a classic bacon cheeseburger, 6 oz. sirloin, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken and more. Deal is good Sunday, Nov. 11.
BAR LOUIE
Vets and active military can choose a complimentary burger or flatbread (up to a $15 value). Deal is good all day on Nov. 11.
BONEFISH GRILL
Veterans and active military with ID get a free order of Bang Bang Shrimp on Nov. 11. The best part of the dish: it’s big enough to share as an appetizer or entree for one.
BRUEGGER’S BAGELS
Vets and active military can start off the day with a free cup (any size) of coffee.
BUFFALO WILD WINGS
Active and retired military get a complimentary small order of wings (tradtional or boneless) and a side of fries. The offer is good for dine-in only on Nov. 11.
CHILI’S
On Nov. 11, veterans and active military can order off a special menu for a free meal. Choose from Chicken Crispers, Margarita Grilled Chicken, bowl of chili or soup & salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Just Bacon Burger, Oldtimer with Cheese, or Cajun Chicken Pasta.
CHIPOTLE
Veterans, active duty military, reservists get a buy one entree, get one free offer on Nov. 11. Offer can be used on bowls, salad, burrito or tacos.
CICI’S PIZZA
Cici’s all-you-can-eat pizza buffet is free for veterans and active military with ID on Nov. 11.
CRACKER BARREL
Veterans can enjoy a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake, coffee or espresso beverage on Nov 11.

Participating stores are offering one free donut to all veterans and active service members.
FAMOUS DAVE’S
BBQ lovers who served in the military get a free two-meat combo. Choose two from a list that includes Georgia Chopped Pork, Country-Roasted Chicken, BBQ Chicken | Sweetwater Catfish Fingers, Southside Rib Tips, Texas Beef Brisket or Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders. Meal comes with a side and cornbread muffin. Offer good Nov. 11 and Nov. 12.
GOLDEN CORRAL
The buffet is holding its annual Military Appreciation Night from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12. Retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or reservists get a complimentary dinner. Offer is good for dine-in only.

Retired and active military can enjoy a free meal during brunch hours on Nov. 11.
JACK CLEVELAND CASINO
Veterans and active military can enjoy two complimentary buffets from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the casino’s Seven Chefs Buffet. The second free buffet can be used for a guest or redeemed for another meal later that same day.

Former and active duty service members can order a free appetizer valued up to $10. Veterans and active duty military personnel can get a six-inch turkey sub, regular size fountain drink and carwash all for free on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The churrascaria, where gauchos serve you all kinds of meats on swords until you tell them to stop, is offering free dinners for up to two veterans per party, plus a 20 percent discount on up to six additional guests. Offer is good Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12 during dinner service.

Veterans and activy military can stop in for a free lunch on Nov. 11.
