There is a lot to look forward to when October 31st is near: Candy, watching Hocus Pocusand, of course, the annual tradition that Ellen DeGeneres sends producer Andy Lassner to a haunted house, usually with a celebrity by his side. And this time, it is the turn of the author of a model become cookbook. The Friday episode of The Ellen DeGeneres showChrissy Teigen braved a haunted house with Lassner and the results are hilarious.
First of all, it's important to know that it's not just all haunted house – that's the Purge thematic labyrinth at Universal Studios Hollywood, which means it's going to be very scary. And even if Lassner is always Funny in this segment (and maybe even a bit more brave after doing this over the years), the addition of Teigen is what really propelled this year's course.
At first, Lassner and Teigen stand in front of the door. Purge labyrinth, and as usual, Lassner is do not to feel good about it. And despite Teigen's best efforts to tell him that he can definitely survive for five minutes of fear, both of them totally lose it when an actor jumps on them even before they've gotten into the House. Is it ok ?!
From there, it only improves. There is a lot some really scary parts of this house, and Teigen and Lassner shouted at each of them. The early models were horrible, but as if it was not serious enough, it got worse when a bloody figure continued to jump at them, and Teigen had to try to keep Lassner calm. Oh, and then this part at the end where they all got splashed with an unknown substance? No thanks.
But when they finally got to the end, Tiegen had to give Lassner props. "I've seen a lot of it, and you're generally afraid, but you really played the role of an alpha-male."
Teigen has been tweeting about his haunted house experience all week, which she called "a true honor after seeing Ellen force her to do so, year after year." She even said Lassner was a "national treasure" and when a fan asked her if she had pissed her pants, she answered very honestly.
"No, but I went to Hot N Juicy before and that was a mistake," tweeted Teigen, referring to a LA seafood restaurant.
And as for Lassner? Well, when DeGeneres shared a segment clip, he tweeted, "Ugh, get sick, I hope my humiliation will make your day a little better."
For the record, Lassner's humiliation probably made improve the day of many people, so maybe everything was worth it in the end.
Seeing DeGeneres torture Lassner in this way is just one of the signs of the Halloween arrival, such as cooler weather in autumn, decorations and costumes presented at Target, and this year he certainly did not disappoint. Now, we just have to wait 365 days (roughly) for the next installment. Who will be the next victim of DeGeneres?
