MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A video shot at a St. Paul Chipotle restaurant is becoming viral on social media.

Posted on Twitter, it shows the interaction between Masud Ali, some of his friends and a Chipotle manager at Grand Avenue on Thursday.

In this document, the leader explains to African-American men that they must pay for their food before receiving it. Chipotle said the manager thought these men were the same customers as those who were unable to pay for their meals on Tuesday.

Ali had tweeted about his meals and chills several times in the past. As part of their investigation, Chipotle officials directly asked him if he had gone to this restaurant on Tuesday night. He said that he had not been there for weeks.

Whatever the case may be, Chipotle asserts that the manager should have been preparing their food and not giving it to them until they had paid it.

The director was sacked and the video was viewed more than 2.8 million times Saturday night.

WCCO-TV asked Ali to comment. He told our reporter that his consul had advised him not to talk to the media.
