If you thought Daniel Cormier was excited after defeating Stipe Miocic to become the UFC's very first ever heavyweight and heavyweight champion, you should have seen his teammates from the American Kickboxing Academy ( AKA) behind the scenes. Cain Velasquez and his friends celebrate Saturday night their first tour of the first book-book-book fighter Miocic in the main event of UFC 226 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday.
And they go crazy.

Cormier credited longtime friend and teammate, Velasquez, for "having beaten" at the AKA in preparation for UFC 226. Although he became one of only five fighters in the world. UFC to have won two weight classes, "DC" has also humbly credited Velasquez for being the best heavyweight in the UFC.
After Cormier knocked out Miocic, the former Olympian called the WWE superstar and former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who was cageside for the main event. Lesnar took Cormier on his offer and should challenge the newly crowned heavyweight king for the title next year.
