When you get a Conor McGregor fight, you get so much more than the opportunity to see one of the best players in the competition. You get a show before the show, because the pre-fight press conferences of the Irish are a show in their own right.
In the run-up to the first bail this Thursday (20 September 2018) to promote his imminent comeback against Khabib Nurmagomedov in a much-anticipated fight against the lightweight title on 6 October 2018 (details), the UFC unveiled memorable moments of the press conference.
And there was plenty of choice, including coming to the UFC 205 presser in an expensive mink coat, while whipping the 155-pound title of Eddie Alvarez. And his world tour before UFC 194 where he also took the opportunity to take the featherweight title of Jose Aldo.
And of course, who can forget the "Who is the man who is this moment" heard around the world? Yet, there were a few moments that did not make the cut, like this one and this one.
As Conor and Khabib prepare to meet for the first time in a few days inside Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY, you can be sure that all eyes will be glued to the computer screens (and the "Mega-Zilla" television screen) to see if we have another classic McGregor moment.
