Lauren Alaina, Brad Paisley, Ricky Skaggs, and Chris Stapleton with Maren Morris and Mavis Staples have been added as a performer for the 52nd Annual CMA Awards.

The Country Music Association has also added special appearances by Oklahoma native Vince Gill,Lindsay Ell, Sierra Hull, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, David Lee Murphy, Carson Peters, Jon Pardi, Marty Stuart, and Cole Swindell to the awards show, according to a news release.

The CMA Awards will be hosted for the 11thth consecutive year by native Paisley and Checotah Carrie Underwood Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, at 7 pm Wednesday at the ABC Television Network. He is also one of the most popular candidates in the Male Vocalist of the Year and the Musical Event of the Year (previously Vocal Event of the Year) categories. He returns this year with his 12th nomination for Musical Event of the Year.

Alaina is a two-time nominated CMA Awards. She returns this year with a nomination for New Artist of the Year.

Ell made her CMA Awards performance debut in 2016, playing guitar during Underwood's all-female performance of "Dirty Laundry."

Hull, McBryde and Peters will make their CMA Awards performance debut at the 52nd Annual CMA Awards.
