Vince Vaughn accused of DUI from June arrest

Vince Vaughn was formally charged with an offense after being arrested at the DUI checkpoint in Manhattan Beach, California, earlier this summer.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office issued a statement confirming the charges against the 48-year-old. Wedding Crashers actor of his arrest on June 10.

Vaughn was charged with having each driven under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, driven with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% or more and refused to comply with a drug agent. peace or submit to an inspection, all crimes.

According to the District Attorney's Office, Vaughn incurs up to 360 days in jail in the county. This is Vaughn's first attack against the DUI.

The actor's story was released a few hours after his arrest. Vaughn – whose passenger was also convicted for obstruction and public intoxication – is seen smiling in the photo. A representative of the actor could not be reached immediately for comment.

Vaughn was arrested between Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach at 2:40 am at a DUI checkpoint, police have already confirmed to PEOPLE.

The artist, who has a 7-year-old daughter, Locklyn Kyla, and her 4-year-old son Vernon Lindsay, along with his wife Kyla Weber, and his passenger were released from prison after being released on bail.

Sgt. Tim Zins later told CNN that Vaughn "was not fighting with the officers, but more … delaying the investigation."
