A mother who requested a work stoppage at a gas station because of a family emergency became viral because the text exchange with her boss shared on Facebook was outrageously insane.

Michigan's mother, Crystal Reynolds Fisher, told her manager that she would not be able to work a quarter ahead because her son was alive . His manager replied: "If you can not come to work, it's you who quit."

It gets worse.

The manager, identified in texts as Dawn, told Crystal, "There is no reason you can not work and I will not tolerate the drama."

Twenty-four hours and nearly 56,000 shares later The manager was fired and Fisher was assured that his job was safe.
