HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – A man from Virginia removed an electrified fence that he erected early Tuesday morning.
The fence separated his front yard, on East Berry Street and South Wilson Way, from a Henrico County school bus stop.
The man – who calls himself Bryan – said that he was fed up with students swearing, fighting and lying around at the bus stop.

"They do not respect the land of other peoples," said Bryan. "I pick up the garbage every day."
Bryan said the intrusion and posters he posted years ago had no impact.
"Nothing stops people," he said.
He hoped that the fenced – connected to a battery – would provide relief.
He said he had finally removed the fence later on Tuesday, not because of the potential danger he could pose to students and bystanders, but instead placed the fence on the county property and not on his own land.
"I went ahead and I proposed it today because it was not in the right place," he said.
Concerns were raised Tuesday as the children were dropped off to catch the bus on the first day of school.
"I touched it, I had a slight shock, it was not great," said James Mehfoud, who owns homes in the neighborhood. "I understand his concern.I do not think he understood the neighbors' concern about their children. One of them could touch him, get down and be shocked. "
Bryan said he was planning to erect another fence, but he hoped he would not have to do it.
"The message is over," he said. "Parents post and talk about it."
The Henrico County Student Code of Conduct applies not only to students in the school, but also to students who take the bus and wait at the school bus stop.
