Each team and each player reacts in their own way to difficult times. We are watching this happen with the Cardinals now. Visitors to this week's "Thursday Night Football", the Denver Broncos, are experiencing their own set of problems. After starting 2-0, the Broncos lost four straight games, the players panicked and general manager of football operations John Elway said this week that his team should approach this match as "we are fighting for our lives ". Oh, and the Broncos have now allowed a rider to reap 200 yards in two straight games.
In this context, Von Miller took the podium on Tuesday announce that the Broncos "would kick their ass" Thursday – which means cardinals.
Miller added (after the end of this video), "Make sure to say it, we will kick their ass."
All this happened after the Cardinals had access to the media for the day. No reaction was possible before Wednesday. To be honest, I'm not sure that will generate much response. Miller is an excellent player after all, and in the end, a comment on Tuesday does not mean much in the field on Thursday night. The Cardinals and Broncos will play as they will, and both teams understand how desperate they are.
Still, it's a nice shot in the head. David Johnson has not had a big match yet. It seems to be the kind of defense he could possibly fight against. Sure to say, there is a lot of behind on the line.
