Short seller: the replacement of Elon Musk could be good for Tesla

Tesla loses another senior officer. This time, he is the vice president of global operations and finance of the electric car company.

Justin McAnear said in a statement On Wednesday, he leaves to assume the role of CFO of another company. He did not say which company. His last day will be October 7th.

"I really enjoyed my time at Tesla and I have a great respect for my colleagues and the work that they do, but it was just an opportunity I could not miss." "said McAnear in a statement.

Tesla chief accountant Dave Morton announced his release last week. He cited the pace of work at You're here (TSLA) and the "level of public attention on the company". He was at the company less than a month.

Managing Director Gaby Toledano decided not to return to the company immediately after taking her leave, saying she wanted to "spend more time with her family," CEO Elon Musk said on Sept. 7.

And Tesla still has no director of operations.

Despite high-profile outflows, Tesla says its attrition rate at and above the directors' level has dropped significantly over the past year.

McAnear attempted to cancel any rumors that he was leaving with negative feelings, saying that he had gone off to seize a CFO opportunity and that "any other speculation about why I left is just inaccurate" .

He said that a number of members of his team will assume his role in the company.

The Tesla business figure adds to investor concerns about the stability of the company and the eccentric behavior of Musk. The company has been under pressure to maintain its level of production – particularly Model 3 – in order to increase its revenues and avoid a possible cash-flow tightening.

Model 3 made its debut on a huge demand, but Tesla's attempts to speed up manufacturing have been hampered by production problems.

Musk assured investors earlier this year that Tesla was back on track. On Wednesday, in a tweet, he said that there was "a significant increase in the volume of vehicle delivery in North America".

But even with one problem: customer service takes longer.

"Solving this problem is our priority," said Musk.
