Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the country, with more than one million participants each year. Dollars raised help the American Cancer Society fund innovative breast cancer research, provide education to reduce the risk of cancer, and provide comprehensive support to patients.
In 2017, CAS staff helped more than 40,000 cancer patients through every step of their journey, including insurance issues, referrals and other local services, caregivers and barriers to care.
