Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease in Western Michigan

More than 5 million people live with Alzheimer's disease in the United States and more than 180,000 in Michigan. There is currently no cure to date, but the community can help make great strides in joining fundraising efforts at one of the many Walk to End Alzheimer's events across the globe. The Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease is a community-based effort to raise funds and raise awareness about Alzheimer's care, support and research. Whether participants have a personal connection to Alzheimer's disease, know someone who has had it or has no connection, everyone is invited to participate.

Funds raised during the Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease contribute to the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. This ensures that the Alzheimer's Association – Greater Michigan Chapter is there to help you every step of the way.

There are three upcoming events in the West Michigan area:

  • September 8 – Montcalm and Ionia region
  • September 15 – Grand Rapids
  • September 29 – Holland
