The season will be long for Kevin Durant.
Rumors about Durant's withdrawal and the Warriors' departure during the off-season were generalized, with the Knicks being mentioned as a possible destination.

The impulse – beyond the usual – for the opening night's questions was the fact that the Warriors had chosen to call Durant's name last in pre-match presentations.
