The Golden State Warriors, apparently in search of liquidity, offer their fans a Breastfeld contract.
Gen Xers will probably remember that "Seinfeld" was a sitcom on nothing. In a recent email sent to Warriors fans, the team announced a $ 100 entry pass to Oracle Arena for each home game in a given month. The catch? Holders are not allowed to see what's happening on the ground – unless they see it on a monitor in Oracle's bars and restaurants.
A spokesman for Warriors told ESPN that fans can buy up to four non-transferable tickets. The team will sell 200 tickets each month during the regular season, starting in November.
It costs $ 20,000 a month and $ 120,000 for the season. This seems to be a sofa change for a team with a payroll of $ 145 million for the current season (according to basketball-reference.com).
Once again, it was expected that the team would play before its 300th consecutive sale on Tuesday, and has a long waiting list of 44,000 zealots. Welcome to the principle of supply and demand. Coming soon: a $ 250 pass to attend the next training session between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant – not in person, but in a puppet show performance on the loading dock in the south. Oracle.
Here's how cash is played on cheap seats:
Ok, yes, I am a hardcore fan of Dubs, but that does not mean that I blindly agree with all the decisions made by the organization. See Exhibit A below. This is absurd. Will ppl actually pay for this? #nba #DubNation

Another reason to hate warriors. (Send me only $ 50 and I will give you a ticket for not having a view of the court from the comfort of your own home! Free parking too!)

Whoever pays $ 100 a month for the #Warriors @ the Warriors pass to enter the building but not be able to see the yard is a fool n you as fans do not have to tolerate this BS from a greedy money organization and the day comes when fans will not pay any ridiculously high prices
