The Warriors lost their fourth consecutive game on Wednesday after a 123-95 home defeat by rival Thunder. Dennis Schroder grilled the Golden State for 32 points while Paul George concocted a game at 25-9-5 and Russell Westbrook completed the match sheet of a triple-double. Steven Adams '20 and 11 were in sauce.
Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson continued to be nice on offense, but just about every other warrior had a bad night. Getting Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will help shorten the list of players used. Some of these guys (without naming names) should only have a little play time.
This is the first series of four Golden State defeats under Steve Kerr, a bitter note with Curry still a week away from his return. The skid dropped the Warriors to 12-7, 5th place in the west. Golden State was 10-2 before Curry was out, and have been 2-5 since. This is the easiest MVP in history.
It also leaves a bitter taste in the mouth of Klay's ability to lead a team, and even of Durant's regression to an outdated basketball version. Yes, we all know that Steph is important. But should not a Durant-Thompson team be better than that, even with a mediocre support cast?

The Memphis MFing Grizzlies are in first place thanks to Marc Gasol's winning free throws. There is nothing like basketball in Memphis. Earlier this season, I wrote about the Grizzlies that are bringing back dirt to the NBA.
Another reason why the Grizzlies are in first place: the ascendants Blazers were carried by the rising Bucks.
Talking about being transported, the maddening Celtics had Trey Burked.
LeBron's first game in Cleveland as Laker was boring. The video of the Cavaliers tribute was good, however. Seerat Sohi writes how the negative reaction of The Decision looks ridiculous. I offered three lessons that the Lakers should learn from LeBron's last four years in Cleveland.

BRIAN WINDHORST HAD KNOWN THAT TORTILLA WOULD BE ABLE TO RESERVE ALL THAT IT CONSIDERED AS A PROTEST OF ESPN'S ACCENT ON BAD STORIES. I love Brian Windhorst and I often feel the urge of someone who has long wanted to go for the beautiful Omaha.

A real conversation for a second: if the circumstances (short term or not) have left you a little lonely during the holiday season, or if you feel seriously isolated from the people around you today, know that you are appreciated you are loved, and we are all in the same. This is a stressful time in the world and in the country at all levels and it does not say anything about the personal problems that each of us might have to deal with. But we all agreed and we had a little peace (if we can spend time discussing basketball every morning). Find the blessings, love and love yourself.
Happy Thanksgiving. Be excellent to each other.
