The first trailer of the biopic Elton John Rocketman is there – and there is glam, glitzy and intrigue to spare. RocketmanTaron Egerton, 28, plays the iconic musician, 71 years old.
While the opening notes of "Bennie and the Jets" are released, snapshots of John's life appear on the screen: the young artist performs in front of an audience, walks a street, records in a studio, gets a wink of a man's eye, throws something angry and fall into a pool.
"There are moments in the life of a rock star that define who he is," says one voice. "Where there was darkness, there was no you and it would be a crazy race."

The music goes under the title of "Rocket Man" and the trailer shows John drinking, flying in a private plane and breathing through a fan. During a concert, John and the crowd float transcendent music.
