It seems that Joey Logano won the war after all.
A brave race with 13 laps to go allowed Team Penske's driver to take the lead at Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday. EcoBoost 400. It's the first league title of the season for Logano, 28, who has failed to qualify for the title in 2016.

Of course, Logano and Truex have a bit of history. Logano secured his place in the Championship 4 by winning in Martinsville in October, but beating Truex in the last corner, prompting the Furniture Row Racing driver to declare that Logano "would not win the war" .
