Kanye West and his son Saint West both launched the first ceremonial pitch during the Chicago White Sox game Sunday afternoon.
The rapper, wearing a White Sox jersey, came out with the Guaranteed Rate Field diamond with Saint on his shoulders as stadium speakers rocked his 2007 Homecoming title.
After removing Saint – who also pitched a pitchers' mound – from his shoulders, West sent his first throw near the catcher, but the baseball did not hit the plate.
West spent much of the week in his hometown of Windy City, with the promising rapper on social networks for open schools DONDA in the area and post a video of himself working in the studio with Chance the Rapper.
West, who will perform on the Saturday Night Live Season 44 premiere on September 29, was also teasing a project entitled Yandhi which will be published the same day at the SNL performance.
