Elon Musk founded The Boring Company to drill holes under the ground and build tunnels that could possibly reinvent public transport. More recently, the company has launched a "loop" system that connect Los Angeles suburbs to Dodgers Stadium in four minutes.
It was a famous company founded after Elon Musk got pissed off with LA traffic.

Currently, The Boring Company has three machines capable of digging the tunnels needed to operate the "loop" systems.
Here is the second machine, controlled with an Xbox One controller, which The Boring Company tweeted on weekends:
Best video game indeed. This is literally the machine used to bury itself in the ground, probably in Hawthorne, where the Elon Musk test tunnel is currently being developed.
Elon Musk recently appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast where he smoked the grass and discussed the imminent threat of AI.
