The K-pop BTS phenomenon has launched a colorful video clip for their collaboration with Nicki Minaj "Idol". The single appears on the last album of the group of boys Do you like: Answer.
The clip is filled with extremely bright images as the group of young boys quickly move from one scene to the other. They appear first at a table while a sun is rising in the background. They dance in front of ever-changing images. Minaj presents herself for her verse in a short neon yellow wig as she poses and taps into the front camera of her phone on a heavily decorated sofa.
Minaj's version of "Idol" only appears on digital editions of Do you like: Answer. The alternative version of the original BTS-only version of "Idol" was announced a few hours before the release of the album. The last BTS album started at Number One on the Display panel 200 and is the band's second album to do it. It follows the revolutionary success of Do you like: Tear, who reached number one earlier this year and was the first K-pop album to do it.
