We know what Joe Joaquin's Joker looks like and it's terrifying

There is a feeling of helplessness in the DC film universe right now. From the departure of Henry Cavill as Superman to the strange thrilling Shazam!There are many things to follow, so if you have forgotten that there are several Jokers right now, it's understandable. While Jared Leto has to come back as his tattooed and gilded version of the supervillain of Suicide team, there is also another slightly more interesting project in the works of director Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix.

The self-contained Joker movie has been rumored for months, and the current buzz is that it is not connected to DC universe creation movies and it will be more of a crime drama of 80s as a standard comic film. That's enough to look promising, because other DC movies have not contributed much to the superhero's tired feeling. And we had our first look at the new Joker earlier this week when Phillips pulled out a teaser, with Phoenix looking extremely terrifying even without makeup.

It seems that the Phoenix Joker weighs more on the motive of the clown than the old Jokers. The versions of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger largely borrowed from the smooth, green-haired version of the comic, while Leto's Joker was fine no matter what it was.

Now, even more Phoenix character images have fled.

DC and Warner Bros. we have already burned. But for the moment, between Phillips' potential, the appearance of Phoenix's substitute teacher and the mood of these images, the new Joker movie looks very promising and inducing a nightmare.
