When Princess Eugenie of York married her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on Friday, it was a day full of scenes of high romance and deep emotions, tradition and modernity, not to mention fashion and jewelry.

1. Gramps was there
The grandfather of Princess Eugenie, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II for nearly 71 years, went to the wedding of her beloved granddaughter, undoubtedly causing more than a few eyes watered with pride. 2. The dramatic reading of Princess Beatrice in 'The Great Gatsby & # 39;
Princess Beatrice, the bride's older sister and bridesmaid, read an excerpt from The Great American Gospel, "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, at the second reading of the cult. The passage spoke of the "rare smile of the central character with a quality of eternal reassurance".

Worse, Maid of Honor Princess Charlotte and Pageboy Louis de Givenchy each storming the steps leading to the church because of the strength of the wind, and the dress of their teenage guardian was exploded while she was helping them.
Given the weather conditions, it was wise to send Eugenie and Jack to their procession in a carriage in the glazed Scottish coach. Harry and Meghan boarded an open carriage for their procession after the wedding in sunny and calm weather.

5 The diadem rarely seen
It was a puzzle, especially because the royal heads were not very present. Eugenie wore the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, a bandage diadem borrowed from the queen.
Made by Boucheron in 1919 in the style "kokoshnik" popularized by the Imperial Court of Russia, it consists of a pavé of brilliant diamonds and rose cut with platinum set with six emeralds inlaid the coin on each side.
The tiara was bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1942 and now belongs to Her Majesty. Eugenie also wore earrings with diamonds and emeralds, a groom's wedding gift.

6 The royal charm of Cambridge children
Prince George, 5, and his sister Charlotte, 3, are now Royal Wedding Veterans. They served as boy and bridesmaid page respectively for the third time in 15 months.
