Welcome to the Chinese resistance

Earlier this year, we reported that Christopher Robin would not be projected in China, probably because of censorship. The bear has become persona non grata in China since comparisons were made between Chinese President Xi Jinping and the ridiculous old bear in 2015. It seems that Chinese censors continue to fight against Winnie the Pooh . Everyone's favorite enthusiasm was blurred on Chinese critics Kingdom Hearts III, and there are even rumors that Winnie the Pooh rides will be purged from Shanghai Disneyland.

Winnie the Pooh became a symbol of Chinese resistance when netizens noted how similar a photo of Presidents Xi and Obama resembled a drawing of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

A photo of the first meeting of the Japanese Prime Minister with Xi was compared to that of Winnie Winnie and Eeyore, and before you know it, the protesters wore the Winnie the Pooh mask like the Americans V for Vendetta-style Guy Fawkes masks. The Chinese government did not feel it and the images of Winnie the Pooh began to disappear from the Chinese web space faster than one can say "heffalumps and woozles". Chinese game reviews site A9VG self-censored his pictures of Pooh, even though the character remains in the game. No official move has been made to remove the two Winnie the Pooh rides at Shanghai Disneyland, but honestly, two Pooh rides seem a lot before you consider political controversy.
