Did you know that you could determine a person's sexuality by looking at his hands? That's what a new report said.

Researchers from the University of Essex in the UK recently conducted a small study, published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, to determine the link between sexuality and finger length.
To do this, they examined 14 sets of identical male twins and 18 sets of identical female twins with different sexual orientations. They then observed the variations of their hands, including measuring the length of the ring and the index finger.
"Because identical twins, who share 100% of their genes, may differ in their sexual orientation, factors other than genetics must take this into account," the authors wrote in a statement.
After analyzing the results, they found that the bisexual and lesbian sisters had a different sized ring and index, which they said was generally a male trait.
"Typically, in women, index finger (second) and ring finger (fourth) have the same length, while in men, the difference between the two is greater," said the team.
In contrast, heterosexual sisters had a ring and index of similar size.
As for male siblings, they said that bisexual and homosexual brothers also had different sizes and indexes, while heterosexuals had the same size and indexes.
Scientists believe that the association between finger length and sexuality is related to the levels of hormone and testosterone that babies are exposed to in the womb.
"Research suggests that our sexuality is determined in the womb and depends on the amount of male hormone we are exposed to or how our body reacts to this hormone, with people exposed to higher levels of testosterone being more likely to be bisexual or homosexual, "the authors concluded." Because of the link between hormone levels and the difference in finger length, looking at someone's hands can provide a clue to their sexuality. "
