"Danger!" candidate Michael Pascuzzi must have learned a thing or two from Emmys.

During the Thursday night episode, Pascuzzi asked his girlfriend Maria Shafer, making the Orlando native a winner even before the show began.

His response from the audience: "What is … yes?"

The legendary animator Alex Trebek, without his much discussed beard, booked an interview with Pascuzzi after no information was provided about the competitor on his cards.

"So what do you want to talk about," Trebek asked Pascuzzi, who intervened confidently, "I can replace you."

He turned to his girlfriend and asked him (not in Jeopardy format): "Do you want to marry me?"

The game show did not have to give his signature "Think!" song after the spontaneous proposal. Shafer instantly replied, "Yes, of course."

In fact, Trebek said he responded too quickly.

"I was about to say we will have the answer to this question right after this commercial break," he jokingly said.

The studio audience and probably all the viewers at home fainted and applauded, creating an unforgettable moment for the couple on the classic game show.

Pascuzzi was finally ranked second, but finished first in the heart of his new fiancee.
