This is the NASCAR race day at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, and we have some vital information to prepare for the Sunday's Ford EcoBoost 400 Race for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series:

START TIME: Josh Dallas, NBC star manifestowill order pilots to start their engines at 14:54. AND, followed by green flag at 15:03 ET.

RACE DISTANCE: The Ford EcoBoost 400 performs 267 laps around the 1.5 mile Speedest Homestead-Miami circuit, for a total of 400 miles.

RACE STEPS: After a successful race last season, NASCAR will be back dividing the races into stages and distributing points. Here are the segments of today's race: Step 1: 80 laps, Step 2: 80 laps, Step 3: 107 laps.

Playoffs: Today 's race is the last of 10 playoff races and will decide the 2018 NASCAR Cup Champion of Monster Energy Series. Here are the contenders for the championship: Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Sergeant Ryan Carson of the US Air Force Band will perform the national anthem at 2:47 pm. ET, followed by an overflight of four F-16s from 93rd Fighter Squadron at Homestead Air Reserve Base.

TV RADIO PROGRAM: The race will be broadcast on NBC from 2.30pm. AND, with a pre-show starting at 1:30 pm ET. Radio calls can be found on Motor Racing Network and Sirius / XM NASCAR Radio.

LIVE STREAMING: NBCSports.com will broadcast the live race for those who log in with the credentials of their cable / satellite provider.

WEATHER Ideal. Weather Channel calls for a sunny sky with temperatures in the 80's green flag and temperatures up to 70 at the latest at the end of the race. Rain is not part of the forecast, but it's South Florida, so you never know.

LAST TIME: Martin Truex Jr. led 78 laps, including the last 51, to win his first NASCAR Cup Series championship. Truex beat Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski in the championship 4.
