If Nebraska wants to stay in Saturday's game, the Huskers need a good start – a memory of that of 2014 before the bottom collapses and Melvin Gordon collapses fiercely. Nebraska had his best training of the season in the first training session against Purdue, but could not support him. Nebraska will have to play an intelligent game, with limited mistakes, while taking advantage of a Wisconsin defense that is not up to Badgers standards. This is possible, but it seems unlikely given Nebraska's tendency to apply sanctions and make mistakes. In addition, it's hard to know how much they will be disciplined on Saturday in defense, trying to stop an attack in Wisconsin that just goes against you.

Nebraska needs these three players to make the difference for the Huskers to have a chance: Adrian Martinez, Stanley Morgan and JD Spielman. You can get started in Wisconsin and these guys could be the best receivers the Badgers have met this year. Add to that Martinez's ability to create a bit, you can squint and see how the Huskers have the offensive ability to make this game interesting. Spielman comes from a big game. Morgan has not had his own yet. Two of Martinez's three games were very solid in the air.

Prediction: Wisconsin 45 Nebraska 14. I can not do it. I have no reason to believe that Huskers play smart football in a difficult environment. The winless season begins another week. (Mike Schaefer)

Adrian Martinez's arm and the talents of JD Spielman and Stanley Morgan can they pose a problem to the Badgers? Camp Randall was a rude place to visit for QB Huskers. In fact, Nebraska's quarterbacks are 47 of 112 (41.9%) of the last four games against Wisconsin – regardless of venue. But the Huskers need big games against a young Wisconsin high this night to get angry. Martinez needs his O-line to give him the time, and the Huskers main playmaker must drop at least some explosive games. And a big surprise piece from someone who does not call Spielman or Morgan could certainly be helpful.

The linebackers of Nebraska can not fail royally their sleeve.. You know what it looks like when they do it. It looks like an intact 50-yard backstroke. Jonathan Taylor is good enough to earn yards when many people are on his way, not to mention the rest. Mohamed Barry and Dedrick Young have to play the best games of their career at the Huskers.

Prediction: Wisconsin 41, Nebraska 20. The Huskers have played a solid defense 10 of the last 12 quarters against the Badgers. But the Wiscy's top linemen and Jonathan Taylor against a Husker defense currently ranked 97th are not the best cocktail for a Nebraska fan. At least you would not think … (Brian Christopherson)
