Yamiche Alcindor:

The White House is sticking by Judge Kavanaugh.

They say that they will continue to support him. And in a statement last night, the White House – a White House spokesman actually questioned the moment and said that Judge Kavanaugh sat down – took over 2000 questions to which he answered, dozens of questions on all sorts of things. and essentially that it – if it was – it has been much controlled, and that it is really something that will come out at the 11th hour.

They specifically said, "It's an 11th hour to try to delay its confirmation."

The judge himself also says that he categorically denies that this happened, that he does not believe that it happened. Really, he denies all that – everything that could have happened.

And then a letter from 65 women who went to high school with Judge Kavanaugh was written.

And in – I'll read you some of it. He says, "Throughout the time we knew Brett Kavanaugh, he behaved honorably and treated women with respect."

Our report shows that the clerks of Justice Kavanaugh organized this letter. And I spoke to a White House source who told me that the reason they are 65 high school women who can even write this letter, because that was a big question for me, it's that he's been so endorsed, he's in touch with all these women.
