UNIVERSITY OF STATE – Penn State is 7-3 and is almost certainly ready for a bowl game in Florida next month after defeating Wisconsin 22-10 on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.
The Lions reversed the scenario with the Badgers, who won the battle for possession of the ball in 33:59 at 26:01 and outshooting the visitors from 343 to 269. The half-star Jonathan Taylor had his own at 39, a rush day almost enough to defeat the passing attack on Wisconsin led by quarterback Jack Coan
In the end, it was a slightly neglected victory, but nevertheless a win with Rutgers and Maryland on the deck to end the regular season.
"We are happy to have won a victory," said head coach James Franklin. "We will enjoy it for the night. Obviously, we have to clean up, no question.
"We are going to enjoy the win, then we will obviously wake up tomorrow morning and start with our next opponent."
