Only four days remain until the second royal wedding this year. Preparations are well advanced in Windsor. Which means that fans wanting to know who will perform at the wedding ceremony of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank finally see answers. Over the weekend, the official Twitter account of the royal family released a series of ads about the upcoming musical lineup of the ceremony, as reported by People.
And, unsurprisingly, the training promises a list of performances worthy of a monarch. This seems entirely appropriate, given the opportunity, as well as the fact that we expect Rolodex monarchs of total value to be present. As royalty is probably already aware, Princess Eugenie will marry Brooksbank on Friday, October 12 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. (Where the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took place earlier this year.) Besides the couple's loved ones – not to mention all the musical talents – 1,200 other members of the public are invited to participate in the celebration Royal.
Those who have managed to be on the royal guest list are lucky for a variety of reasons. One of them is the fact that, just like the last royal wedding of 2018, Eugenie and Brooksbank will present a series of performances by some of the world's most esteemed musicians. The first standing? Some melodic tunes from the acclaimed strings of Andrea Bocelli, legendary classical performer, whose talents have been likened to Celine Dion's "voice of God". According to a Palace announcement via Twitter on October 6, Bocelli will perform two songs during the ceremony.
Suffice it to say that Bocelli's double performance certainly does not sound like the only one to force a moving response from the sprawling public of the ceremony. (For the record, we expect a participation rate of 3,000 people.) As the Palace pointed out earlier in his recent announcement thread, the Archbishop of York wrote a special prayer in honor of the great day of Eugenie and Brooksbank. "The Dean of Windsor will deliver the address and officiate when the couple make their wedding vows," concluded the announcement.
By adding to the list of personalized wedding gestures from various members of the royal clergy, the music director of St. George's Chapel wrote additional music specifically for the wedding of Eugenie and Brooksbank. As PeopleThe report mentioned, he composed two independent descents – musical interludes, essentially – for a set of choral songs that will also be played at the ceremony.
Finally, finishing the ceremony with a nod to tradition, the palace also revealed that the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Trumpeters state of the domestic cavalry band will be on hand to provide celebratory tunes throughout the day. After that? There will be a red velvet cake made by hand wait at the reception.
So who else is currently hoping to have completed a request to be one of those lucky 1,200 commoners invited to the Eugenie and Brooksbank special day? If his extraordinary musical composition gives an idea of the power of the royal couple's wedding ceremony, it seems rather cautious to say that the world is about to undergo serious chills on Friday morning. Those of us who have not won a seat at St. George's Chapel will simply be content to watch Bocelli's (and all others) performance on television.
