What's new at Disney World theme parks in Orlando in 2019

New events appear in the four Disney parks.

Mickey and Minnie's Surprise Celebration

The best part of this surprise party for the first Disney couple? A daily "Move It! Rocks the! MousekeDance It! Street Party" aka parade from the main street to Cinderella Castle.The party continues in the castle with your favorite Disney characters and remixes "Mickey Mouse Club".

Mickey and Minnie's party begins Jan. 18 at the Magic Kingdom, with entertainment, merch and themed food and drinks.

Musical and cinematic moments

From January 18th to September 30th at the Magic Kingdom, discover Dapper Dans, Casey's Corner and discover magical musical experiences around the park. Also sure to be fun? Mickey's "PhilHarMagic" and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, which will replace the Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Party with Pixar Pals

When the 11-acre Toy Story Land opened in June at Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests were able to sample the world of Andy – going out with the Slinky Dog, Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the gang.

Lightning McQueen

Do you need speed? In the spring, Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy opens its doors to Hollywood's Disney studios. This attraction highlights the legend of the Lightning McQueen race, voiced by Owen Wilson in Disney-Pixar movies.

Lion King

In 2019, Disney's "Lion King" is 25 years old. From January 18th to September 30th, guests will be able to feel the love at Disney's Animal Kingdom during the "Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party" with Simba, Timon and Rafiki.

Pandora

Pandora: The world of the avatar opened in 2017 at the Animal Kingdom, but that does not mean that Disney has the mystical country of floating mountains and bioluminescent plant life.

New offers such as the Rivers of Light night show and Kilimanjaro Safaris twilight trek offer visitors a new way to discover the park.

Epcot Flower Fest Concerts

In 2019, Epcot celebrates the 25th anniversary of its iconic international festival of flowers and gardens. From March to May, the next Flower and Garden Festival will take place from March 6th to June 3rd.

In addition to the great topiaries and amazing Disneyesque flower displays, the Flower Festival is renowned for its concerts, Garden Rocks concert series and mini food festival.

Disney announced that the concert series was expanding over seven days, with three concerts a day. If you do the math, there are 270 concerts during the Flower and Garden Festival.

Epcot arts fest

In 2017, the Epcot International Arts Festival debuted.

In 2019, he returns from January 18 to February 25, offering guests delicious food, stunning artwork, and live entertainment. Expect more music with the arts festival – the Disney Broadway Concert Series is also extended to seven days a week during the festival.
