Which new superhero trailer is better?

The streaming service of DC Universe has recently opened its virtual doors, with the original introductory series Titans configured to introduce the live-action comic super group for the first time. Meanwhile, Hulu is preparing for the second season of her youth comedy drama, Runaways. Both series of the superhero team have released new trailers today, with Runaways& # 39; be our first look at Season 2 & Titans& # 39; published with the announcement that Netflix will be its exclusive home streaming anywhere outside the United States. And we hold the face-to-face promos in a trailer battle to see which show deserves the most hype.

Titans

Let's start with the second official DC Universe trailer Titans, a dark and serious rendition of fans' favorite comics, with Dick Grayson of Brendan Thwaites as a Detroit inspector whose legionary past can not be buried for long. The trailer above does a pretty solid job showing all the main heroes with whom we are going to pass Season 1, as well as the visually interesting elements of each character, even if it does not show a ton of new images. It also balances Dick's calm behavior in his "real" life with the cruel rage that comes when he is in Robin's shoes. Whenever his fractured relationship with Bruce Wayne presents itself Titans conversations, I find myself more and more enthusiastic about what has happened, which does not bode well for my judgmental habits.

Beyond Robin, Rachel Roth of Teagan Croft, who will later assume the alter ego Raven, needs help when Titans begins, and as suggested in the caravan above, she possesses weird demonic powers that are highlighted by emotional stress. Then there is Koriand's extraterrestrial princess Anna Diop, known as Starfire for all these obvious reasons; it looks like Starfire is here Titans will really have to show off his CGI budget because these moments in the trailer are absolutely gorgeous.

And then perhaps the most promising, we have Garfield Logan Ryan Potter, whose ability to change animal shape earned him the nickname of Beast Boy. It is quite possible that the spritely hero gives Starfire a chance to get CGI money with all his transition scenes.

Overall, it's not entirely clear TitansThe narration will actually lead to, beyond the fully realized superhero states of each of these characters. Like Robin, Alan Ritchson's Hank Hall and Minka Kelly's Dawn Granger seem already established as the Hawk and Dove duo specializing in the fight against crime, but it's clear that Rachel will have to find a way to control her awful powers and that Koriand & R will have to understand a few things to her. Still, I love everything we've seen so far. (And stay tuned for my Titans review.)
