And Francesca Troon, 18, filmed the event on her phone and explained why the Duke of Sussex had become so enamored of the royal fan, known only as Lydia de Hastings.

Meghan seemed to distinguish the lady aged about 80 and went across the street to talk to her during her first tour of Sussex.

Francesca Troon, 18, pensive, took out her cell phone from her pocket to film this comforting moment.

Meghan called Harry to meet Lydia, who rented the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex, whom she called "beautiful."

The duchess asked where Lydia came from during the meeting in Brighton, during Meghan's first trip to the county whose title bears the name.

Lydia simply says, "Hastings."

This causes the affectionate kiss of Harry.

Mrs. Troon told Express.co.uk: "This is what happened at North Street in Brighton. I had just finished my studies. So I went to see if I could see Meghan and Harry.

"Meghan was on the other side of the street and she was getting closer and closer, then she talked to this lady.

"Meghan called Harry and it happened out of nowhere, he just took her hand and kissed her.

"The woman laughed and after she just seemed very excited and happy about it."

Mrs. Troon, a student at the University of Brighton, said she was shocked to have captured this intimate moment on her phone.

She said, "It was really nice and I'm so happy to be here in person to see it."

The gesture was considered "soft" for the spectators, and is far from the borders that the older royals would not dare to cross during the fights.

The Royals are not usually supposed to shake hands with their supporters during impromptu visits. Princess Anne revealed that they had been made aware, otherwise they might not meet everyone.

She told ITV's documentary Queen of the World: "We never shook hands, the theory was that you could not shake everybody's hand, so do not start.

"So I'm holding on to that. But I notice that others do not do it.

But Meghan pushed his affections a little further, even kissing members of the public regularly.

And Meghan's behavior may be erasing her husband.

Harry has often seemed warm and affectionate to the public and is not afraid to show affection to his wife during royal engagement.
