Corn candy is a trash.

We all know this is true, so it's time to finally put aside any nostalgia you feel about waxy treats and start thinking rationally.

Halloween is all about sweets. We claim to be open to tips, but we do not put these bulky costumes in search of treats. And if you ask me, sweet corn presented as an event to consider every year is the biggest thing of all.

That's why it's time to elect a new candy to represent Halloween. And this year, I fully support Reese's peanut butter cups.

That's why I hope you'll join the campaign on October 31st.

Nobody knows what corn candy is supposed to be

Seriously, what is it? The colors do not match any type of flavor and you can never know if your sweet corn is good or bad.

It's a lie: it's always bad. Why? Because it does not matter whether it's this year or 20 years ago, it's the same level of sustainability. It's a red flag.

It was created in Cincinnati, but even Ohioians hate it

If your home country does not like you, why should everyone else do it? As reported by Cincinnati Enquirer, a study of geolocalised Twitter publications shows that most of the discussions on sweet corn in the state of Buckeye are negative.

The study found only 240 positive mentions of sweet corn in Ohio, compared with more than 1,000 negative mentions. Cleveland is the one who prefers the most, while Cincinnati was the most favorable.

The same study shows that Indiana also hates him.

The Enquirer also reports that sweet corn was first commercially produced in Cincinnati 120 years ago, when it was known as "chicken food". Are humans even supposed to eat this thing?

And I do not know how a president with 120 years of poor electoral results is hanging from his seat, but there are some who are. If you ask me, candy corn is manipulating the system, and we can not sit back and let it continue.

Reese's peanut butter cups dress up the room all year long

You know what are the colors of Halloween? Orange and black Do you know what colors you will always find on Reese packaging? Orange and black

Case closed.

And they are delicious

Ask yourself: Have you ever willingly accepted a cup of Reese peanut butter? I doubt it.

Beyond that, cups of peanut butter manage to appear in all kinds of desserts to bring them to new levels of delights. Pies, cookies, brownies, cakes. You can find all varieties of peanut butter cups and they are all fantastic.

But a slice of sweet corn cake? Pass difficult.

Corn candy wants to hurt you

I mean, just look at this gif!

The proof is right in front of your eyes, people. Wake up.
