The Wild seemed out of sync in his first game of the season, an effort in which he was slow and struggled to develop cohesion on the ice.

Colorado has won four straight games against the Wild, outclassing the 23-5 team over that period. As Boudreau mentioned, this trend will likely depend on the impact of the Avalanche's front row on the match.
"Hopefully they will not have the puck," said center Eric Staal. "It's the biggest thing. Obviously, they play very well, with great confidence. You just have to take away time and space. All the top players, you want to make sure they do not have the puck and, when they do, they immediately have a person face to face and do not give them time to play.
"They obviously generate a lot right now, so everyone on the ice against them will do a job and it will be a good test."
