ST. PAUL, Minnesota – The Minnesota Wild extended its four-game winning streak with a 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday.
The Kings (2-7-1) lost their sixth straight game (0-6-0).
Eric Fehr had a purpose and a help, and Devan Dubnyk made 23 stops for Minnesota (5-2-2), 4-0-2 at home.

Fehr's first goal with the Wild made it 1-0 at 15:13 of the first period when Marcus FolignoThe crossed pass on the ice deflected him as he slipped into the right post.

The Wild scored the first goal of the game for the first time since Oct. 6, a 2-1 shootout victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.
"It's huge for us," said Fehr, who signed a one-year contract with Minnesota on July 1. "It's hard to play when you play behind you score the first goal and get out of the first period with a lead is great because you can see in the locker room guys are a little more encouraged by it."
Jonas Brodin scored 2-0 at 14:22 of the second period on a wrist shot from the left circle with the Kings goaltender Jack Campbell (22 backups) filtered.

Clifford picked up the puck after a turnaround by Nick Seeler and scored from the right faceoff circle to shoot Los Angeles in 2-1 at 3:39 of the third period.

Mikael Granlund scored a short-handed goal on the empty net in under 45 seconds to reach the score of 3-1, and Mikko Koivu scored in an empty net at 24 seconds of the 4-1 final.
Minnesota killed three penalties in the final at 7:28.
