Will Carol and Ezekiel get married in 'The Walking Dead?' They found love in a hopeless place

The apocalypse of zombies sparked a lot of joy thanks to the relationship between Carol and Ezekiel on The dead who walk Season 9. During "The Bridge," Carol tentatively agreed to Ezekiel's marriage proposal. Carol and Ezekiel are getting married together. The dead who walk comics? It's not because she's currently wearing her ring that this pseudo-engagement will go anywhere. Especially since people find joy on The dead who walka walker usually bites them to reality. But if Carol and Ezekiel wanted a wedding, they would have Father Gabriel (who is finding his love) to bless the union. It's just that this relationship is far from being cannon.

While Ezekiel had a big smile on her face when Carol asked her for the engagement ring during "The Bridge," Carol and Daryl's shippers were probably shaking their heads disapprovingly. But even if you think Carol and Daryl are going well together, it's undeniable that Carol's relationship with Ezekiel has brought lightness and sweetness to this season. She decides to "try" the ring while she is at the head of the Saviors and even the Caryl fans had to laugh when Carol prevented Ezekiel from kneeling at that moment as the king had sure writes a speech.

Walking together in the alley is a path radically different from that borrowed by the comic counterparts of Carol and Ezekiel. Comic Spoilers to come. Like the version of the television show, Carol is one of the first survivors of the graphic novel. With her daughter Sophia, she joins Shane's group. (Her husband is already dead and there is nothing to indicate that he has mistreated her as Ed did in the show.) From that point on, both Carols diverge radically.

Although TV Carol becomes a convinced and convinced loner, the same can not be said of comedic Carol. It sadly defines its value by the fact that other people want it or not. She starts going out with Tyreese, but he cheats on her with Michonne. She then proposes a polyamorous relationship with Rick and Lori Grimes, but they refuse his advances. She decides to commit suicide but beforehand, she sleeps with the teenage son of Hershel. The next day, while her daughter Sophia is still alive, Carol lets a walker bite her neck and she dies. So, yes, it's quite different from Carol who once was concealed in the guts to save everyone from Cannibals Terminus.

Carol dies while the group still lives in the prison, her fate in the comics was sealed for a long time. She never even had the chance to meet Ezekiel. As for the king of the kingdom, he dates in an interesting way the same woman who led to the break between Carol and Tyreese – Michonne. In the comic book, Michonne also came out with Morgan, but in the television series she is pretty much the first lady of the zombie apocalypse as Rick's partner. Regarding what happens to Ezekiel, it's better to see how the AMC series will tell the story.

So the relationship between Carol and Ezekiel is not based on Richard Kirkman's graphic novels and there is no precedent for what will happen. But with this relationship working so well, you should probably start to worry that Carol or Ezekiel is dying. But hey, look on the bright side of things. If Ezekiel joins his dear Shiva to death, then maybe Carol and Daryl will always have a happy ending.
