If you have not tuned in for Latin Grammys on Univision, you've missed outstanding performances, dance-style music and funky fashion. Fortunately for you, we were watching and we have the greatest moments that you missed.

A song featuring Beyonce lost

Will Smith hit his heart in a scintillating costume

Smith and Marc Anthony kicked off the night with an energetic performance that set the crowd off early in the night. Smith hit in English and went on stage to join Anthony and Bad Bunny. The performers sang their melody "Esta Rico" and were accompanied by dancers in skinny jerseys, who danced on different parts of the stage until the men met in the middle and took turns on the central stage.

Country music meets Latin music when Kane Brown arrives

Karol G. brought his father on stage to celebrate

In a dress with a truly endless slit, Karol G. brought her father with her on stage to accept her award for Best New Artist. She said that she was very nervous at the beginning of her speech, but she quickly reassured herself, reflecting on how she had sworn a few years ago, while she was looking at her. She would win a Latin Grammy. She then let her father take the microphone and finished his speech with a few words of celebration.

What?! There was a tie?

Presenters and the audience were shocked to learn that there was a tie in the category of the best Norteño album. Pesado's "Los Angeles Existen" and Caliber 50's "Guerra de Poder" both won.

A plea to end armed violence

Things got worse when the hosts of the evening, Ana de la Reguera and Carlos Rivera, pleaded for the end of the gun violence, stressing that the music had the power to heal and gather people, before presenting a performance from Kany Garcia. She sang the ballad "Para Siempre" while playing the guitar.

The crowd became rowdy

Luis Miguel was not there to accept his prize for the year album and the crowd did not have it. They savagely booed his absence and did not cheer up too quickly. Murmured mockery continued until the next musical performance.
